O.k. we all know how much I love wagons around here...but this GT86 "wagon" render isn't sitting right with me. A shooting-brake would work, wagon...not so much.

You know if they did make it and priced it under 30k I would probably buy it on principle alone. It's not bad...just not quite right.

I think it is the large and wide rear fenders that throw off the flow. The rear is too large compared to the front of the car in my opinion.

Call me crazy.....but....damn, I would drive the shit out of that. AWD and the 2.0 DI turbo setup the JDM legacy is using...then TAKE MY MONEY.
A 3 door sport back or whatever you wanna call it would be epic too. But the extra space is fine by me if it was a similar size to a current WRX or Crosstrek.

Doesn't a four door kinda defeat the purpose of the GT86BRZFRS? Making it longer and heavier would surely make it seem more underpowered and throw off the handling.

I dig it. I think the tint on the rear window is what is off. It's something you'd see on an SUV or a minivan, which this is not.

My only gripe here is that I think it feels pretty perfect with 200hp, even though there are plenty crying for more. It may need a little more oomph if it gets too heavy. If the engine bay was a little shorter I think I would be all over it, or throw on the less aggressive BRZ fascia.
If I
needed
to have four doors, I think I would consider this if it was still around $25k, because that's at just about WRX territory, and currently if I needed four doors I would go for the WRX.
